  The front of the house staff is a little quirky and unpolished but very friendly. We ended up with a salad ordered by mistake based on a question asked about lettuce coming with our barbecue. No big deal. It was a little unclear who was expected to tend the the at-table cooking (they do it). The barbecue was delicious, the soups were excellent, and the panch'an was generous, tasty, and varied. Go visit and support this nice restaurant making a go of it in Shoreline.

  The bibimbap is great—huge and the bowl is very broad so you get a really nice crust on the rice. The kalbi-jjim was delicious, too, and about 4 meals worth of food. The grills are gas rather than charcoal, but it's less smoky and you don't have to worry about running out of coals partway through cooking. For four people they serve eight types of banchan, nice variety. Make a reservation, though, as it's popular and there's often a wait.

  I will caveat that I've had Korean BBQ in many different places, Seoul, ktown in LA, SF. For Seattle, this is the best I feel they have to offer! The kalbi is very authentic and I love their seafood pancake. It's a must get. Also, if you're here with a crowd, the combos are amazing. Bring your appetite because portions are large here, which is a plus!
